Ego Depletion is an incredible insight that makes perfect sense. I've been trying to dig into all corners of my subconscious mind, looking for all manner of fears, yet it seems that this idea of ego depletion accounts for times when I am productive and times where I just can't get anything done. And I had just blamed it on depression. Interesting.
