		<description>Yes...persistence trumps talent.  In the absence of talent persistence may not trump talent.  When Steve Young was asked about what contributed to his MVP award, his response was that he was at every practice, meeting, and game.  Ahh...talent and persistence.  
On a separate note:  I think that Daniel Pink would agree with an unfortunately emerging fact about our quest to earn money (sad but stated with truth)... It&#039;s more about who you know than what you know. (social networking anyone?)
