I’m Giving Away 5 Computers…

Earlier this fall I gave away a free computer as part of the HP Freshman 15 giveaway. I’m happy to announce that I’m now involved with an even bigger and better contest for this upcoming holiday season.
It’s called the HP Magic Giveaway. I am one of 50 sites that will be provided $6000 worth of computer equipment (including 5 computers and a wireless printer, among other things) to give away however I see fit. I will post more details about the contest in the near future, but that basic idea is that I am going to choose one of you to act as Santa Claus: giving away the equipment to students and clubs you feel most need it at your college. (Keeping something for yourself as well, of course!)

My first thought when reading this was I know EXACTLY who deserves a new computer (and its not me… but, if you wanted to just give me one….) Can’t wait for the details…
BTW, love this blog and just picked up both your books. Trying to find a way to salvage my chemistry grade.

Very nice. Where do you get these computers from Cal? They just throw them at you??? Haha, I guess we just should be happy that they do and not ask any questions.
Would be nice to play santa for some clubs at my less-than-well-funded-school. (I think that’s the nicest way I can put it)

I think that We must get this hp prize as there are many people in our country don’t know pc ,we will give them these prizes from hp and learn them.
